Hi ESR... mpnp has 5 categories/streams ....one of which is general, strategic, student ,direct-employer,and family stream of which we belong..ISSAH>> ur a resident of Abu dbi.. I also mention Abu dhabi CEM for my federal applications... if we get tthe LOA then.  I will process there too...but Im a resident of Dubai.. Ur applying as Family?

So all of us leytip group are the same coz my cousin make me confused he told me that there is also a family but not under mpnp.. yeah im working here abroad but my mailing address is in the philippines so once i get loa then i will process in cem manila.. Keep on praying guys...

Hi LEYTIP group, I keep on monitoring your updates. Your application is a month ahead of mine sayang i cant be a part of your group kasi Jan.2010 application ko. But when i reviewed my application today on that personal history since your 18th birthday i forgot to put may2005-april2006 unemployed it would that be problem to my application? hmmp just bit bothered so how can i update mpnp regarding this matter? but the rest ok...

hi esr, yes I recieve a temp file number april 24,2010 3mos after submission of my application. i also overlook question on page 1 of MAPP form. it says in the AOR that we should not contact them during this period as it may only delays the process of our papers so i guess lets just wait if they would ask us to explain regarding our mistakes. I know exactly how you feel right now all we can do is pray. Goodluck to all of us.

Hi esr and other leytip group - my daughter & her family is under Family Stream.
I just called my brother in Winnipeg to inquire if he has been interviewed already by the program officer in manitoba. He told me that he hasn't received any call from them. He also told me that even during his first application in 2007 for my other brother, he was never interviewed. I think those whose sponsors were interviewed are applicants whose sponsors are distant relatives or close family friend. They're just verifying and of course, the government would like to know if the sponsors really know the persons they are sponsoring.

Yes Tes, i'm applying as Family.I'm just a bit confused where to submit my application because my family is in Philippines. Though one of my friends knew the same story where the principal applicant is a temporary resident in canada and the family is in Philippines, the family took medical in Philippines and their papers are processed in Canada. In case approved, I'd like to submit it here in Abu Dhabi coz it will be difficult for me if it will be processed in manila (PPR and medical), besides I don't want to resign from my job until the visa is issued.

Anyone out there who knew the same story?

Hi Lormac... and LEYTIP group..you hav a point maybe.,, the only reason they will call the sponsor is to make sure u hav proven ur relationship  wid the applicant and sponsors financial support. the rest like docs they will inform the appplicant not the sponsor.Im the first one to be sponsord by my sis and never did she recvd a call from immgrtn,..prayn alls well then. Processing time also depend on the bulk of applications... so hope were the only applicants on the DEC heheheh...

Yap thats right ...dont resign .Anywy ur wife is in the Phils,, so she will process her part then there. For me its diff sinc u hav to hav somebody in the Phil to get NBI for CEM for instanc..And we hav to secure also Police clearance from here as part of the federal req..soon... Me I hav to travel to abu Dhbi for my processing... Is ur passport already machine readable?

Yes, our passports are all machine readable, i changed it before i filed my application. I read in cic website that NBI can be processed from our embassy here in UAE, we just need to submit our finger prints and the embassy will send it to Phils.  I read also that PNP processing in Abu Dhabi required  applicants to submit through courier only with the return pre-paid airway bill.
