Thanks so much for your reply and information. It has been almost 3 months now. Hopefullly I would receive LOA in April 2012. Praying will help I believe.

Hi ATD.. Well ur case is similar to me as I also applied in the month of october but I did received my AOR in february , now expecting a sponsorer call then lette of nomination if everything goes fine but I do not have any idea about the time line after we have received the AOR. Hw abt your AOR ?

Tinawagan ko yung number n binigay mo.
Ang sabi sa akin, kapag enough n yung mga documents n binigay mo sa MPNP, hindi na nila tatawagan ang sponsor.
Depende n sa immigration officer kung satisfied na sya mga documents na naifile ng applicant at sa settlement plans na ifinile ng sponsor.
So my possibility na dumating ang LOA khit hindi pa or hindi na mainterview ang sponsor. Le's just hope and pray na ok n lahat.....

Hi mhersol. Relax lang kamo. I felt the same way when my online application was already more than a month old and I still have not heard anything from Manitoba. After the AOR via email, file number and request for Settlement Plan 2, things just became quiet. All of a sudden here comes the call from mpnp to interview my brother. God willing, we are planning to get an apartment at Maples/Seven Oaks area (North Western Wpg) where my brother resides. I am not sure if there are cases where sponsors or relatives are not interviewed. I see no reason why they should not. It's just a very short phone call and it will not cost them anything so I think they will still call you. There was a forum member/applicant who was likewise interviewed and not just his/her sponsor. But I don't know the circumstances behind it whether they are both in Manitoba or not. Regarding the funds, yes the document checklist for CIO does not need updated proof of funds, but maybe better to keep the funds intact just in case it becomes necessary or should the visa office do some verifications, which usually happens without our knowledge. I think your sister's LOA will be coming very soon. I see no reason why it shouldn't. She has strong ties to Manitoba thru you and she has the education, language ability and experience to be able to work and settle in Manitoba. Good luck!

hi. i am maureen.i am new in this forum..MPNP applicant ako. nung feb 24 na receive ko thru email yung AOR ko.wala akong na receive na letter.mga kelan ko kaya expect yung medical request ng aking mga anak kasi i'm currently working on the ship at uwi ko pa is mga july 2012.ask ko din po kung may deadline ba ang pag complete ng medical? paano kaya pag nag request sila at dito pa ako outside country at di ko magawa yung medical ko agad mawawalang bisa ba ang application ko?pwede kayang sumulat sa embassy para sa extension?salmat po....God bless

Hello Maureen under what stream are you applying for? I'm under General stream, from my experience I received MR after 3 mos. of  submission of docs to CEM. Medical should be done within 1 month upon receive of MR. If you can't make it, I think you have to inform CEM of your reasons..

hello, as I remembered I've read on this thread that officer will ask you as to where you want to deliver your baby, if you happen to know that you're pregnant while you are waiting for the visa.

Hello Maureen under what stream are you applying for? I'm under General stream, from my experience I received MR after 3 mos. of  submission of docs to CEM. Medical should be done within 1 month upon receive of MR. If you can't make it, I think you have to inform CEM of your reasons..

Thnak you sa help mo.under General stream tayo pareho tayo...naku baka dumating na pala ang MR ko nyan kasi nung DEc 16, 2011 ko sinubmit sa embassy ang mga pepars ko at ang AOR ko receive ko ng Feb 20. kung sakali nga dumating na ang request susulat na lang ako sa canada embassuy manila, right?kasi pag umuwi ako na di tapos contract baka mawala ang work ko sayang kasi.salamt claire ha.ikaw ano na lang ang hinihintay mo nyan?goodluck sa iyo.God bless.sa manitoba ka din ba?

Hi mhersol. Malapit na siguro interview sa yo. In my case, my online application was sent Nov 17. Sponsor interview Jan 4. LOA Jan 9. MPNP usually asks for additional docs within 1 month. If they haven't asked for any until now, then maybe there are no additional docs that they require. Accdg to MPNP online applications are approved in 2 months. One forum member got LOA in 2 months despite a request for additional docs. In my case, no additional docs were requested and I got my LOA in less than 2 months. Don't worry. Your sister's timeline is within the expected processing time. Good luck!

Hi Carl! Too bad I didn't read about the online application process when we submitted ours. My brother in law submitted our application in Winnipeg Nov 16, and to this day we haven't received our application number. He dropped by the MPNP Winnipeg office last week & they  advised that they have a back log. Hopefully, we'll receive our number this March. Have you filed your PR in Manila office yet? You got your LOA in less than 2 months, that's wonderful!
