Kakasubmit ko lang ng application papers ko sa canada. Okei lang ba na magresign ako sa current job and work to other company?
Or pwede din ba ako mag work sa singapore for a year contract while under process or review papers ko? thanks

hi there! anu po ung DM? is that a health condition? i guess di naman cia cause for refusal.. only those that will pose health hazard.. un nga pong TB at syphilis as long as treated pwede na e..

may additional test ba nirecommend sa yo?? ako po may medical furtherance from a medical officer sa embassy for my kidney, i asked Nationwide kanina, di pa din nila naforward sa embassy, so meaning, di pa ko pwede start to count for PPR.. pero oks lang, everything happens for a reason.. .. baka they are just making sure that we are physically fit pag dating dun..

 @ janmyung - congrats too! At last dumating na ppr mo. Sandali na lang visa ka na.
Congrats din sa lahat ng mkareceive ng ppr and visa.
We had our med last April 18 at St. Luke's Extn clinic but sad to say, need to have sputum test pa kasi daw parang may maliit na cloud sa left lung. Malabo lang ata film nila eh. Grabe as in grabe kasi 2 weeks before we got the MR, nagpa xray muna kami and 2 doctors from different hospitals ang nagbasa ng film. Ang isa sa nagbasa ay doctor from St. Luke's Global City and according to him - clear na clear - in short normal ang xray. Ok lang to have sputum test and pay P2100 for the laboratory, but to wait for 2 months for the result - OMG - torture yon.  So disappointing! Wala kasi silang makitang ibang health problem kaya yong sputum ang pinakamadali nilang ipagawa at madaling sabihin. Sana sa Nationwide na lang kami nagpunta, baka ngayon eh submitted na sa CEM med result namin. Anyway, wala tayo choice kundi sumunod sa gusto nila. Dasal at dasal pa ang kailangan natin para maayos lahat..... God Bless us all.....

Unusual ang repeat xray  unless me previous spots na nakita.. urinalysis are common repetitions...so ask sila uli ng repeat? magastos na ano? bakit 1 month pa ang aantayin? anyway la tau magawa....hope clear na nex time... take fresh milk  an hour b4 the test.... ganyan ang ginawa namin plus liters of water ang tinungga..hehehe

Hello Lormac,

What I can suggest is that.... how about telling the examining doctor/clinic that you had a prior xray taken in their institution for the reason that you just wanted to make sure in advance that you were alright...  that the xray taken most recently had a different reading from the one taken right before it.... in this way, (well not really a guarantee ) there's a chance that they will have to have you take a repeat xray only instead of a sputum test. Sputum AFB exam takes only 2 to 3 days but the sputum culture can take 4 to 6 weeks. And by the way Lormac, even if your sputum exam results are negative (because the yield is low), if the xray is questionable or fuzzy,  next possible step is ct scan of the chest/lungs and might even consider you for treatment of primary complex which would take 6 months if you never had treatment before.... But.. if you already have a history of a scar in one of the lobes of the lungs, you will only need to prove to your MD that you already completed treatment before and that what they are seeing right now is only the scar of a previous infection, which is acceptable and easy to deal with (PTB Class4). Just sharing lang.... That case already happened to a relative of mine.

i agree with jtlay.. may kasabayan ako sa Nationwide na dala ung xray film nia done outside..cnabi nia dun sa staff na clear cia before taking the med.. tinanggap naman ng staff dun sa nationwide, tignan daw nila..FYI lang.. Godbless us all!

Thanks tesmanalo, jtlay and foradlai for the concern.  Actually walang spot or scar sa xray kasi never na nagkaron ng ganyan. No re-xray was requested also, basta sputum agad. Siguro nga "little cutie phlegm" (to borrow ice victoria's quote) lang yong nakita kasi galing ako sa ubo 2 weeks before the medical, kaya nga medyo natagalan kami bago nagpa med. We also told the doctor that I had the xray taken recently, pero di daw yon kailangan. Ang hinanap ba naman ay kung meron daw xray taken 3 months ago. And, iba din daw ang kanilang reading sa reading ng ibang hospital... Can't get the logic, eh St. Luke's Global City nagread non at mga specialist pa kasi don nagwork wife ko and take note sa Ancillary Dept na hawak lahat ng results ng xray, ultrasound and ct scan. Sinabi din namin yan sa doctor ng St. Luke's clinic. I had my first sputum this morning at yellowish na parang may laman na might be food intake kagabi ang inilabas ko (kadiri!!). Sabi 1st day pa lang daw alam na kung negative un, pero on the 4th day pa kami kakausapin ng pulmonologist for the result. Sabi nila din, they will send the result sa CEM right after malaman result. Pls pray for us.....
