thank you corned for sharing your insights about life in canada.  you're really right!  i remember my former officemates/colleagues who are in Canada now told me that life in Canada (and I think in other part of the world) is not a bed of roses at yung lahat ng mga nabanggit mong mga experiences/frustrations ay totoo talaga but still they are the ones who encourage me to pursue my application...kailangan lang talaga ng sipag, tiyaga, pagtutulungan at higit sa lahat ang pananalig sa Diyos.

i really love this forum and how the people here think.  i feel that despite all the negative feedback or inputs received by everyone about living and working in Canada, positive thinking/outlook pa din ang majority.  i believe with God's grace makakaraos din tayo lahat at magiging successful gaya ng iba.  Minsan kailangan nating lumabas sa comfort zone para makita natin ang ating full potential,, and that's what life makes more exciting  .. And i believe kapag ibinigay sa atin ni Lord na makarating ng Canada, kaya din natin gaya ng iba.

Pinoy2manitoba, foradlai, 3hm, melbeltran, i like your insights too, very positive and this would help a lot to each everyone of us here. @ corned, thank you for your concern malaking tulong din sa amin yung insights mo kasi magiging mas prepared kami na harapin ang magiging buhay namin sa dream land...we would appreciate also if you could share with us the positive side of it.

wala pa po ako sa winnipeg, but i strongly agree with her.. halos lahat po kasi ng mga kapatid ko nasa winnipeg po for quite sometime.. kaya naman po i was not really exited to go to there for the longest time.. dapat 5 years ago pa na process papers ko but i kept on delaying it. thinking that my life is good here, why will i was dishes or shovel snow? I was thinking it wasn't the lifestyle that would fit me...

But then again, nakakatuwa ung forum nato, this is the reason why I hav appreciated the fact that i have an opportunity to go to Canada.  To try something new. To learn something new.. Life is too short, and could be a bit boring, if we keep on living and breathing within the same old circle... And i also realize how blessed i am having an oppurtinity to become a canadian, na one day God willing, I'll be able to have a change to see the world without visas.. God willing....

I also realized na sa daming filipino na sobrang exitement makatangap lang ng MR, tapos ako I was not appreciating it before, made me realize how lucky I was to be given this priviledges... So I thank God, for a chance of a new oppurtunity and experience....

Share ko po ung sa COA.  I attended yesterday, ung sinasabi po ni CORNED ngaun is almost the same dun sa ibang case study na pinakita sa COA ung speaker has discussed true to life similar stories like this. and may pakita din sila videos of different immigrant who suffered similar dilemas.. but all of them go through it all, like Corned some of them went back to school, kasi kahit ano nga experience natin dito zero padin dun, kasi what they were looking for is what they call "CAnadian experience"

Its all unexpected that my medical and PPR arrived this much early considering that CIC abu dhabi processing time is 9-12 months as stated in the AOR or even  24 months in the CIC Abu Dhabi site and from reviews from previous  abu dhabi applicants .. Are PPR normally received by emails? Actually my PPR only took a week  since the time my medicals arrived in LONDON...I believe that Canada is really  fulfilling  their  promise to increase their quota this year and to take note Manitoba is the only prov now offering PNP so we must be lucky!!  God bless us all and pray that all of us will get to manitoba this year!

 @ corned, thank you sa insights mo...kung mamarapatin nyo po, gusto ko po sana ishare sa inyo ang dahilan kung bakit gusto po namin ng pamilya ko na pumunta jan sa Canada. Kasi po gusto ko po na mabuo na po kmeng mag-anak. My husband is working in Riyadh for almost ten years...sa Canada lan po namin nakikita ang lugar na pwede kmeng mamuhay ng mapayapa at magkasama. Excited po talaga ako, halos araw2x basa ako ng basa sa forum na ito, natutuwa sa progress ng application ng iba dahil ibig sabihin, malapit ng maproseso ang papel namin pamilya. Matagal akong nabuhay na parang single mom, wala akong katulong at driver so i guess sanay na po ang katawan ko sa haharapin kong pagsubok jan (yun nga lang maliban sa weather). Pero hindi ko na po naiisip yun hirap na kailangan namin harapin....matatabunan yun sakit ng katawan namin  at ginaw sa init ng yakap namin sa isa't-isa....
Biruin mo, after all these years, ang mister ko na ang una kong makikita sa pagmulat ko sa umaga at pagpikit ng mata ko sa pagtulog...WOW....and it could be forever...gustuhin man ng husband kong umuwi na dito sa Pinas, ramdam namin na wala ng room sa corporate world ang mga over age dito sa atin at isa pa, para rin sa quality education po ng anak ko....wag nyo po sana isipin na defensive ako, ito'y isa lan po sa dahilan ng mga misis na OFW ang asawa...

Cheers po sa lahat ng nakakuha na ng VISA at sa mga katulad ko na naghihintay pa ng MR! :-)

aside sa good opportunity that canada has to offer for us immigrants..one reason i encouraged my husband to migrate is for us to stay in one place together (that is nung nasa manila pa ako at c hubby is nsa saudi). .mahirap ang matulog ss gabi ng mg-isa..lalo na makita ang anak n lumalaki na wala ang ama sa tabi..like you, i would prefer to take sacrifices there with my family than to live or spend my life separated with my husband..

now, we are here sa abu dhabi..my husband was transferred here..by the grace of God, he  had the opprtunity to bring us here. we are together now, but still we decided to pursue with our plan to go to canada..because we know, there is security when it comes to providing the needs of our kids..especially education which we as parents would want to give to our children..we think not of short term goal rather we look of what benefits us in the long run..


btw,i am happy to announce to everyone that today, April 7, 2011, our PPR has finally arrived in my inbox!

Hello guys!

hay! na virus ang pc ko sa office halos one week ni reformat kaya parang ngayon lang ako naka balik sa ting tahanan dito sa forum.  Pag sa gabi kasi sa FB naman ako nagtitingin.  page 304 pala last visit ko. 5 pages nilamay ko ngayon.

I was so touched with the many good news, sharing of thoughts and experiences ng mga nauna na at mga patungo pa lang na ang puso't isipan ay bukas sa kakaharaping pagsubok sa pupuntahang bayan.

Thank you kababayang corned. What you shared have really added fire to our hearts and mind na isipin at tanggapin di puro ginto ang pupuntahan sa bayang iyon. 

ako nga ang daming nagpipigil sa kin sa office. may promotion daw ako pag di ako umalis sabi ng isa. wag ka nang umalis....  pero para nga mga bata ang naiisip natin di ba? saka we have already set nga our minds nga na di tayo mam or sir doon. ako nga lagi kong sinasabi pagdating don tagasalo na lang ako ng itlog sa ano ng manok. at least tanggap ko yon. Basta lagi nating isipin, we have asked the Lord for this opportunity and He granted it nasaan man tayong stage ng proceso so para sa tin to. It means makakaya natin ang bagong buhay na ilalaan nya sa atin doon. We just always have to be humble and trusting in HIM. Parang si Corned, she was able to make it. So kaya rin natin yon di ba??? kasi nga God is good all the time!

I need an advice, we just got here 4 months ago, we were sponsored by my aunt, and now my aunt wants to sponsor my brother, but the problem is my brother doesnt have the 10,000$ show money and we cannot put up money for him at this time.Does anyone here submitted their application even if their show money is not complete ?is there anyway we can still file my brother's paper without the 10,000$ show money?thanks
