March 2007 - submitted application package to MPNP
January 09, 2009 - received Letter of Approval from Manitoba
June 09, 2009 - Submitted Application Package for Permanent Residence and payment of Processing Fee
September 08, 2009 - Received Acknowledgement of Receipt & Medical Instruction
September 13, 2009 - Permanent Residence status (on process) as per ECAS
October 19, 2009 - Underwent Medical Examinations
October 26, 2009 - Submitted orig documents (TOR, Diploma & COE) and payment of RPRF
November 13, 2009 - Received letter to submit Police Clearance/Certificate
December 06, 2009 - Sumitted Police Certificate/Clearance
February 20, 2010 - Received Passport Request Letter by email
February 23, 2010 - Submitted Passport through Courier
March 15, 2010 - Permanent Residence status (Medical Received & Decision Made) as per ECAS
March 18, 2010 - Received Passport visa Visa stamp & Cert of Permanent Residence

Hi guys,

want to share my application track.

           April 2007 - submit requirements to Manitoba
           June 2008 - received Certificate of Approval
           July 2008- submit application to Canadian Emabassy Manila with the Certificate of approval
           Oct 2008 - rcvd letter for Medical request and additional requirements plus
                           payment of permanent residence fee
           Oct 23   - medical done
           Nov 10   - medical reports forwarded to Embassy
           Nov 14    -  submitted additional requirements and payment as well

Additional Questions:

1. Based from the Canadian Embassy - Manila's Appendix A, Provincial Nominees aren't required to submit the following: Education/Training/Qualifications, Work Experience, Proof of Language. Is this a case to case basis, because according to some of the posts here, there were some who were still asked to submit those documents?

2. Is Settlement Funds/Back Certificate required for Provincial Nominees? If yes, how much is it?

3. Is PN Certificate Number same as File Number?

I would like to check with you, normally they will allow you how many days to prepare the Medical Exam report and Police Certificate/Clearance?  Is it submitted the IELTS test result together when you submitted the application package?

hi, merge! that's good news! congrats on your PPR. we also got our PPR letter last week and included in the letter is the Appendix A form. I don't know if the said form is also available in the Canadian embassy's website. but let's just wait for the other members here to reply...
