Hi Aya & everyone!

I was just wondering, within how many days should you submit your passport to the Canadian Embassy Manila once you have received the PPR? Because, I am planning to have a long vacation in Europe this April, and I am expecting maybe to receive my PPR this March or April (Medical Test have been sent to Embassy last January).

If you have information on this, it would be a lot of help. Thanks! Smiley

Thanks for the information. What if my PPR came too late and I already can't rebook  my vacation. Can I write a letter to the Embassy that I can't pass the passport within that timeframe, maybe if they could extend another 15-30 days? Thanks.

Hi marv,

I think you're PPR will come around May or June, how long do u plan to stay in Europe  since only 45 days are given to submit your PP. I think 2 months vacation is enough and timely for your PPR to come.

God bless!

Hi everyone. I have the same problem with marv. We already booked for a family trip in Singapore on June 2010. We had our medical exam Jan. 30. We will be submitting the additional documents probably this Saturday (just hope the dropbox is really accessible anytime). If there will be no problem with our Medical and docs, and based on the thread, they'll send us the PPR by May or June. How long will it take before we get our passport back?

Thanks.

Hi guys,

want to share my application track.

April 2007 - submit requirements to Manitoba
June 2008 - received Certificate of Approval
July 2008- submit application to Canadian Emabassy Manila with the Certificate of approval
Oct 2008 - rcvd letter for Medical request and additional requirements plus
                           payment of permanent residence fee
           Oct 23   - medical done
Nov 10   - medical reports forwarded to Embassy
Nov 14    -  submitted additional requirements and payment as well

Please share yours...trully appreciated

I want to ask something about our application. We filled it last july 2009 and up until now we don't know what's going on with our requirements. Because if we passed or failed, there will be this letter that will show to us whether we passed or not. We just follow the requirements of our friend and we send it directly to Manitoba Immigration. And our friend was in Manitoba for a couple of months already. I badly needed a response.

Hi Regina Tan,

It took a year before you receive a letter of approval from manitoba.  I submitted our application last January 2008 and we received letter of approval last February 2009.
