Hi!
My boyfriend has an application for MPNP. He sent his passport to the Embassy last Dec 8, 2009. Then today, Canadian Embassy tried to call him but unfortunately he wasnt able to answer the call. We're just wondering what was that about. He's worried now because he's thinking that he passed the wrong documents or the Embassy needs additional doc. But as far as he is concerned, he just followed the instructions that was given to him.
Do you have any experiences like this? That Embassy tried to call you?

jun 2008 - submit requirements to Manitoba
oct 2009 - received Certificate of Approval
nov 2009- submit application to Canadian Emabassy Manila with the Certificate of approval
Dec 15 2009 - rcvd letter for Medical request and additional requirements plus
payment of permanent residence fee
dec 29 - medical done
jan 5 - medical-requesting for additional test
problem - should i send my additional requirements and payment? how im going to inform the immigration office regarding my medical - additional test?

Just started the application process to Manitoba through the MPNP, We submitted our application material on July 2009 and we received a letter requesting more information on October not had from them how long should we wait to get a response?

@ Pia13 - My boyfried passed his passport last December 8 but til now he hasnt gotten yet his passport with his VISA. And yours only took 12 days... We're hoping that he will receive it this week.
The Embassy tried to call him last January 5, 2010 but he wasnt able to answer the call. We called them back but the lady said that they dont have way to track it since that is thier trunkline. Do you have any idea where to follow up? We also emailed them and still waiting for their reply.
We are really hoping that his application will be approved and no more delay in his application.

hi, guys! I've just checked our application status in the cic website and it says "Decision made. Medical results have been received. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
Does it mean our application has been approved? We sent our passports to the embassy on dec 29. here's our timeline:
march 2008--application submitted to mpnp office in winnipeg
march 2009--approved as provincial nominee
may 2009--submitted visa application package to canadian embassy in manila
september 2009--received requests for medicals and additional docs
december 22, 2009--received PPR via email
december 29, 2009--sent passports to embassy via LBC
january 12, 2010--e-cas changed status to 'decision made'
i hope it means we'll be receiving our passport stamped with visas.
