hello.. ours took 16 months.. hehe ..MPNP under General Stream..maraming factors, like, kung anung stream ka under, if in demand job mo, completeness of docs at kung masipag ung immigration officer na nakahawak ng files mo

May nag PM po sakin asking about sa marriage, kasal thing, during visa processing and after the visa is stamped.. eto po ung personal comment ko po dun.... I just thought of sharing baka makatulong sa ibang members natin dito...

I have two sisters who got married after they got their PR Cards... Yung una, pumunta ung guy sa canada as tourist dun nag pagkasal.. the guy went back to thailand and nag submit ng Application for Spouses... with processing fee din yon.. technically di importe yung mga points like work experience etc etc, kahit walang pera kahit singko or may medical condition.. ang important lang ma process ung application which is roughly 6 months or less and to undergo medical to ensure na walang active TB, or sakit na nakakahawa to treat it 1st.

ung 2nd sister ko naman, went back to the philippines and married the guy. went back to canada and the guy filed the application FSW yata tawag dun.. in less than 6 months dun na din sya ngaun canada...

hope i was able to clear it... yung nag change naman ng status when your visa is about to be printed i dont have an actual experience with that.. I am just thinking na ang siguro mangyayari, your visa might be delayed in being stamped, to give way in the processing of your spouse's paper, na di na review masyado the other declaration ung security and medical check nalang.. kasi regardless naman kung grade 1 lang natapos spouse mo or post grad pa, it will not make any difference. siguro they will just look at the background just to randomly check kung consistent and info.... so maaring i expedite ang changes para makasabay mo na sa pag alis ang spouse mo... kasi ganun din ang ginagawa nung mga iba na nagkaka baby in the middle or in the process of the application diba? na dedelay lang nga konti, pero nag kakavisa na din ung additional family member, like new born or maybe in your case spouse... this is just my opinion... others kindly help po...
