our letter said, we should make arrangements fOR our medical exam within 30 DAYS FROM RECEIPT OF THIS LETTER..the letter was dated Jan 5, 2011 but we received it JAN 18, 2011..so i should start counting on JAN. 18, 2011..

I believe it is registered mail, and technically you have received it on Jan 18, 2011, so the 30 days start on Jan 18, 2010.  However, in my opinion, if you have the time and just to be on the safe side, start your counting on Jan 5.  Besides, the sooner your done with your medical, the quicker you get to PPR, right?

Hope you do well with your medical. If you have any previous operation, just make it sure to bring the documents about it, so they will not ask you to come back.

I had my medical in saint lukes, It was quick. Although someone said that they are more strict there, but it was just a breeze for me. just 2hrs or less. And I heard that they send records to CEM quicker, I am not sure if it's true.  But most of the people here, I noticed that they go to Nationwide, and they have a lot of good stuff to say about them.

hi to everybody new lang po ako , just want to ask those who are finished the medical our case po is this my husband has an basketball injury maybe 20 yrs ago more or less the doctor put a small metal brace on this arm but since then d na po na i pa remove up to now yun lang po ang situation namin may possible effect po ba ito to our medical ? ano po ba ang dapat gawin? pls anybody who knows pls reply , maraming salamat po

Hi, I am not an expert on this, but I think it is ok. Having brace on his arm is not a contagious disease like TB. Just bring the operating record of your husband or clearance/ or medical statement of your husband from his doctor.  My bro in law had laser surgery with his kidney stones and those (any of those i supposed) were asked from him. But he didn't bring those records a long, or maybe he didn't have them yet so that's a cause of delay. He came back a week later to saint lukes just to submit the medical history/record.

I think you have to put the address in the States ( for fbi cert purposes only ).
It will not create confusion on the part of embassy nman coz we have this form nman to fill up about our recent address diba?

My husband work before in Korea, he's here now in the Phils. The embassy required us to submit Police clearance from Korea. We just filled up the informations needed. Yes, we put all the info ( Korea address, company name / address ) for easy processing of the clearance.

even if 20 years had past, need p din medical report?? in my case i had breast cyst excission year 2001 do i need to bring the medical report? i dont even recall the date of my operation..how is that?? and beside we'll have our medical exam here in abu dhabi..
