Hi Dindin,

If you really want to avoid waiting too long for your MPNP application, I suggest you apply ONLINE if you are indeed qualified. This way your application will be processed faster.

Likewise it is easier to fill up the forms in the Online Application tool. The documents required are almost the same as in the MDOC Family checklist, with the exception of the bank account history which should be at least 6 months. Likewise, some additional documents to accomplish such as the Settlement Plan part 1 and 2.

You will just scan and upload your documents. No need to have them notarized.

However, if you will submit your application BY MAIL, you do not need to submit original documents to MPNP. You must submit clear photocopies that are notarized as "certified photocopies of the original document."

Manitoba Forms you must submit originals as stated in the checklist.

Gov't of Canada forms you must submit photocopies only, but not notarized if I remember correctly.

I strongly suggest you apply ONLINE. Accdg to sources, MPNP is getting a large volume of applications such that even online applications are getting delays. What more those submitted by mail (includes applications sent directly to MPNP office in Winnipeg).

I hope this helps!

Hi Carl!

I might need to produce new set of documents for my new application.  My application and original documents are pending with my aunt and she doesn't process it yet *sigh*. Embarrassed  Documents are with her since February and I am now planning to seek help from my other distant relatives.  In this case, could it be possible if I'll only submit notarized documents in behalf of my original documents?  Only forms are original? I am hopeless and I want to process my application the soonest.  I'll wait for your advise.  Thank you in advance! Smiley

I think you should have forwarded notarized copies of your docs instead of the originals. That's what's indicated in the checklist.

Hi guys!

I received my AOR May 2012 and they are asking for the IELTS result. I am about to get the result this coming friday. I would just like to know what would be the best way to submit the application? Should I use FedEx addressed directly at

Immigration and Multiculturism
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program
7th Floor, 213 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 1N3   >>(this was the heading on the AOR letter)

or is better to send the document to your sponsor first then have the sponsor mail it / or personally give the IELTS results to the immigration office in Winnipeg?

I would also like to verify if I can write the Temporary File number on the photocopied IELTS Notarized Form? Would it still be valid? I'm thinking that if i just attach a piece of paper with the Temporary File Number  on the photocopied IELTS result, it might get lost..

Hoping to hear thoughts from all of you!

God bless!  Smiley

Hi there. It does not matter if you will send the IELTS result directly to MPNP office in Winnipeg or send it to your sponsor first. What matters is that the document reach the MPNP office. You must notarize the copy of your IELTS result. Likewise, it is better to properly identify your document with your temporary file number properly printed on the copy. This is better than just attaching a small note. Make sure you get some kind of confirmation that the document reached its destination. Good luck.

Hello!

Thank you very much for immediate response.  I believe online application is for family stream and I am only applying under general stream since my sponsors are my distant relatives already (my mother's first cousins).

Thanks a lot Carl!  Will let you know once my application has been lodged already.

Godspeed!

Hi. We too were asked to submit IELTS. We scanned notarized copy and emailed it to my brother-in-law who forwarded it personally to MPNP Winnipeg office. We also sent a couple of notarized copies by mail should the assessing officer ask for it. My bro-in-law wrote down the file number on the printed sheet itself. Not claiming that this is the best way but this was how we did it.

What is estimated processing time under Strategic Initiative?

Moreover, will there be any confirmation or acknowledgement send to principal application by Manitoba immigration after receiving the application? After how much time, confirmation send to principal applicant that documents has been received?

What is AOR?

How much time it take for documents assessment ?

What is estimated processing time under Strategic Initiative? You generally know whether you are selected / rejected within 120 days

Moreover, will there be any confirmation or acknowledgement send to principal application by Manitoba immigration after receiving the application? After how much time, confirmation send to principal applicant that documents has been received? You do get a confirmation requesting additional information if necessary and letting you know your file would be reviewed and a decision given
