Hi I would like to know how to pay (demand draft?) cashable in Canada? I have to pay $4300 CAD and I am not sure how to pay it as I heard somewhere that they do not accept cheques etc so I am not sure as I do not have a CAD currency account .. If I pay in local currency what will be the rates and so on ..

Can any experience person help me to understand and get it done

Nazar,

First of all where are you presently residing?

Normally, All you need to do is go to a Bank in your home Country and ask them to issue you a Bank Draft in Canadian Dollars payable to or to the order of the "RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" and send it in with your application.


Inquire from the Bank what the rates are.

Thanks a lot ... really appreciated ...

I am applying from Pakistan and have USD currency account as well as Euro and Pakistan Rupee .... I will go to bank and do the needful
