unclear forms/manual for investor visa

My husband and I are in the act of applying for an investor visa to immigrate to British Columbia. We decided to use the regular process because we are German citizens living in the USA. After studying the application kit, the web sites, and the forms carefully we still have a few questions regarding the documents and forms we have to send in. Since the Canadian embassy does not answer our questions we would greatly appreciate any help we can get.
 
1.   Regarding Schedule 6 Economic Classes/Business immigrants, question 8:
(a) Do we need to include income statements and balance sheets of the business to verify the numbers we provide?
(b) Should the numbers be given in Canadian $ or the original currency?  If the answer is Canadian $, do we use the current exchange rate or the rates at the end of each year?

2.   Regarding Appendix A Checklist, section 7:
(a) Since we have many bank accounts in Germany (which include items such as stocks, ETFs, and CDs) we  wondered if it is sufficient to get confirmations from our banks in English in which the balances of our  checking/savings accounts and the value of the securities are stated.
(b) If the answer to question (a) is no, do we have to hand in copies of our bank accounts as of the end of each year for the three year period or do we need to hand in the monthly statements? Does every single piece of paper need to be translated or if it is sufficient to provide one translation for every bank account? The layout and words are the same over the three year period.
(c) Do we have to include minor checking accounts?
 
3.   General question:
Is working since age 16 proof enough that we made our money legally or do we need to include an extract of the last German tax returns because they show the amount of income that every source of income generated?

The numbers will be in original currency but make a detailed statement explaining the equivalent in cad and as u are applying now it is based on approximation of current rates eg ind Rs v/s cad, this month it varied between 42-43 inr you can safely use 43 as the mean number.

yes confirmations of last balances and value of the securities in English would suffice .

generally last balance statements work out good enough but they have to be in English.

(c) Do we have to include minor checking accounts?


if they hold significant amt. of money yes and if small amounts then no...

extracts of german tax returns would really help and if they need to be translated then get them done... hope this helps
