Hello there. I am confused. I would like to ask in which category do my MPNP application belong. I have a relative in Manitoba and is willing to sponsor my application. He is my grandmother's cousin or should I say the uncle of my mother? Do I still fall under Family Stream or General Stream? Please advise.  |

Hello all,
Still one more question before finalizing my application, from the Generic Form, the National Identity document that I have used is the TIN #, however this doc has no expiration date and i couldn't validate til such part was fully completed. Please help

Hi, I am new here  We are planning to submit our documents on June 26, coz that is the day that we claim our passports. We will be applying online under family stream and the one who will be sponsoring us is my husbands second cousin. Would we still qualify for 'family strea' even if they are just second cousin? Please give us light on this. thanks! this forum is really helpful. Hi dinahmae, as you mentioned that the one who's going to sponsor you is your father's second cousin, in that case you are not qualified under Family Stream (brother/sister/aunt/uncle/first cousin: sponsor for family category), hence you can apply under General Stream. As for the IELTS, I suggest that you should take the exam because it is highly recommended by MPNP, take note, only the principal applicant need to have IELTS. It's better to have your IELTS included already in your application to avoid delays. Because if not and MPNP request you after reviewing your applications, then it will take you month to submit your IELTS, and it means delay on the processing of your papers. |

Hi rose. You can leave that blank just as I did. It says "if applicable" only. |

Indeed, everything I read here about the faster processing for online applications are all true. Will be back here to share more updates when i get more instructions. Dear, For Canada immigration process is very straight forward if you have strong connection in Manitoba state then you can do all by yourself there is no need to hire any one for the consultation.
