Is MAS also required when applying online? What if the principal applicant doesn't have the $10k POF and his sponsor wants to sign a declaration of financial support? Can he just upload one when he submits his online application?

Hello to all!

I am new here and i am planning to apply via online under the stream of family support as soon as possible.

I just wanted to know to those who were required an additional documents especially IELTS result, what were your intended occupation?

And to those who weren't required to pass IELTS result who were also under the family stream, is your intended application were coded as Level A or Level B by the NOC?

Whoever answers these questions will help to think if I will take the IELTS or NOT.

I have been trying to file the online application (family stream) for over a month now and it keeps telling me under education to download credentials and transcript which I have done, please what else do I have to do.  Your valued response would be highly appreciated.

Did you upload your diploma and Form137 for your secondary....unless you upload that one then only you can submit your application.....

Hi. If you have already been nominated by Manitoba (issued LOA) no need for MAS. You will then follow the document checklist provided by CIC/CIO.

God is awesome like always! I got my LOA today FedExd by my uncle in Winnipeg. My timeline is as follows:

Application: Online applied on Feb 14th 2012
Additional request: none
My uncle's interview: May 14th 2012
My uncle submitted extra documents: May 30th 2012
LOA dated: 31st May 2012
LOA sent to my uncle's address: 5th June 2012


I'm now preparing documents to mail to CIC Nova Scotia but I got a kind of problem with the police certificates and clearance as I studied in the Netherlands for 4 years and worked in the States for 2 years. I'm now living in Vietnam and I need to prepare all of three police certificates. The Vietnamese one is easy but the other two are a bit complicated as I dont live there any more and taking some time and procedures to get the certificates from there.

Please share with me if you guys got the same problem?

 I am one of the applicant of MPNP online application ..last june 1, 2012 - i was successfully submit all the requirements needed in MPNP online application.then last June 2, 2012 - I received the MPNP FILE No. xxxxxxxxx, then the MPNP send an email to my uncle (our sponsor) to send  them a copy of resettlement plan part 2, it was sent last June 5, 2012 thru mail. and now I just want to follow up if the resettlement part 2 was received or if not yet receive that settlement plan part 2 , my uncle is very much willing to send again another copy. for more information and question just send to my email address (sorlacm @ yahoo.co.uk)

Hi. Normally MPNP does not give further feedback after they receive Settlement Plan part 2 or any other additional documents for that matter. If you want to be sure that they received your document, you may send them an email at mpnpapplicationhelp @ gov.mb.ca

Hi Carl, as per my case, my brother submitted his Settlement Plan 2 and he received email from MPNP acknowledging receipt of the same. He even forward me the letter from MPNP.

AFAIK now IELTS is mandatory for everyone.

I am in the process of gathering all the documents after receiving the LOA, my question is, do i still need to notarize the photocopies of passports and other docs per checklist?Do I need to also send the proof of funds though it's not included in the checklist? Please advise
