Hi everyone,
Good day! My husband and I are planning to apply online but I do not know who will be the principal applicant. I have a sister in Manitoba and currently working in my husband's business, he's bank account is more larger than I have. Does he is eligible to become the principal applicant?
If yes, what are the document's I should upload if he will fall under self employed status?
Hope someone could response my inquiry.
Thanks and GOD bless!!! Good luck to all.
God's Grace
Hi. Better go thru the website of Manitoba immigration first ( www.immigratemanitoba.com). Likewise, you can check the mpnp application kit to get a glimpse of required documents. The major difference in documents required between online and by mail application (under family stream) is that the bank statement/account history should be at least six months compared to three months only if by mail. The rest of the requirements are basically the same. You mentioned that your husband has a larger bank account. Isn't it a joint account with you? It is a conjugal property so there shouldn't be any problem. Good luck!

Hi rose. Just answer it truthfully whether you think you can start the licensing process before you arrive or not. In my case, I simply said no. It really depends on what your profession is. You must do some research if there really is a way of getting licensed before you arrive in Manitoba.

I think it would be better to request for bank certificates with account history. Official Bank records are more complete and comprehensive. Passbooks may not always be updated. Just my opinion.

God is awesome like always! I got my LOA today FedExd by my uncle in Winnipeg. My timeline is as follows:
Application: Online applied on Feb 14th 2012 Additional request: none My uncle's interview: May 14th 2012 My uncle submitted extra documents: May 30th 2012 LOA dated: 31st May 2012 LOA sent to my uncle's address: 5th June 2012
I'm now preparing documents to mail to CIC Nova Scotia but I got a kind of problem with the police certificates and clearance as I studied in the Netherlands for 4 years and worked in the States for 2 years. I'm now living in Vietnam and I need to prepare all of three police certificates. The Vietnamese one is easy but the other two are a bit complicated as I dont live there any more and taking some time and procedures to get the certificates from there.
Please share with me if you guys got the same problem?
Thanks a lot n May god bless us all
Alan

Dear, Congratulation wish you luck for the next move. For your queries/ concerns I would advise to post it under another thread which is specifically for the applications to Nova scotia. Can you kindly share your uncle experience regarding the interview like what were the questions etc Regards BK

Regarding my uncle's interview, he was asked the questions like anyone else with the general questions about myself and my fam members. The officer asked him if he intended to settle in Manitoba for a long time as he just arrived here for 2 years. My uncle is self employed and that's why he was asked to fax his tax statement to MPNP. They also phoned to his friends asking about the work as well.
When all were okie, they approved my case right away. To my experience, when your relative is interviewed, it means your file 's in good condition and it's final check up to get approved.
