Hi everyone. Bago lng kc ako dito. 1 year 7 months n kmi d2 sa winnipeg. Thanks Smiley

Good day po! May tanong lang po ako. I'm presently working here in Abu Dhabi. Wala po akong permanent address & they don't have mail delivery here. Do I need to have my own PO Box? How do the MPNP communicate? Is it through email or through mail? I cannot put my company's PO Box because it's not safe base on my experience. I hope that anyone here can help me. Thank you po.

@ stuart, nung magsubmit ako  ng addtl docu, almost three months ng mainterview sponsor tas after a week yung decision na naka date sa LOA.. mabilis lng yan, dasal pa hehe

@ mhersol, i guess family stream application ng kapatid mo.. nung ako kase nagtanong sa mpnp kung requirement ba ang IELTS, sagot sa ken "it is recommended that you take the IELTS (General Training)"
naisip ko na malaking factor din kase yun sa language ability kaya nagtake na lang ako..

@ cmj, you can communicate with MPNP through email.. mpnpapplicationhelp @ gov.mb.ca

@ mhersol.... minimum band score of 5 is the requirement but IELTS itself is not really a requirement for family support stream but......... i was told that it is recommended to take it.. general training.. sorry ah nakalimutan ko na ilang days makukuha yung result pro parang a month din... principal applicant ang mag take pro plus factor din cguro kung pati spouse... single applicant lang po kase ako..
about the sponsor's interview, karamihan po ng nababasa ko eh tanong lang ng program officer kung may relatives kyo or yung applicant outside manitoba, kelan kayo huling nag usap ng applicant, masusuportahan mo ba yung applicant pagdating sa manitoba, etc.... basta importante po totoo lahat ng sinabi sa application ng applicant, walang tinatagong facts, tsaka gusto nilang masigurado na may sasalo tlga sa applicant and family nya pagdating ng manitoba.

Hi Mhersol. Honestly I think IELTS is not really mandatory. For us Filipinos, they know that our education's medium of instruction is English. But we must provide proof that our education was indeed in English. In our case, I provided certificates from my high school and university that English is the medium/language of instruction, both for me and my wife. So far until now, they have not yet emailed me asking for IELTS. I submitted my online application 1 1/2 months ago. Looking at the timeline of other members, Manitoba usually asks for additional documents in less than a month after submission of the application. Looking closely at the requirements for family stream, it is EITHER you have an IELTS score minimum of 5 OR proof of education in English. There is nothing wrong taking the IELTS. But for me I decided not to take it. I also have a friend who applied via mail, family stream, who likewise did not take the IELTS, but also submitted certificates from their schools that English was the medium of instruction. Likewise, no email nor letter from Manitoba saying that they need to submit their IELTS score. Your sister can save P8,000+ and the stress and hassle of going thru it.

Good luck to your sister!
