Ask ko nga din kung kailangan pa bang iattach yung mga forms n nsa document checklist na hindi nman applicable sa applicant like yung SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION, USE OF REPRESENTATIVE AND DECLARATION OF INTEND TO RESIDE IN QUEBEC? Need p b nilang magprint nun and lagyan n lang ng N/A then iattach din sa PR application or [wdeng hindi na....

Regarding Non-Applicable forms, I did not bother to print them. Accdg to the checklist, "if applicable" lang naman. SUPPLEMENTARY INFO/TRAVELS -  need to fill up even if she did not travel. There is a box to check if applicant did not travel. Use of Rep not needed. The Declaration for Quebec is only for QSW

Question for those of you who have already submitted your Permanent Resident Application to CIO Sydney.  Which bank in Philippines supports or issues certified cheque/ bank draft / money order in Canadian money?  Do you need to open a Canadian dollar account to get such payment type?

hi, I heard BPI is issuing bankdraft in Canadian dollar...please call them for requirements.  They say you need to open an account in their bank, not sure though if PESO Account or DOllar account.:-)

Carl, ask ko lang nga pala kung nung nagsubmit k ng application for visa sa Novo Scotia eh address pa din dito sa Winnipeg ang ginamit mong mailing address or diyan na sa Philippines? Ako na kc ang magmemail ng application ng sister ko kc dito na ako magbabayad ng PR and Landing fee nila eh.

BDO also is issuing a manager's check/ bankdraft but they required to open an account in their bank also.. i used BDO but they give me a hardtime regarding this.

Yes, pwdeng yung relative mo n dito ang mgbyad ng fees mo at mgmail ng application mo sa CIO.
Tumawag ako sa MPNP and tinanong ko kung pwdeng ako n lng dito sa Winnipeg ang mgbyad ng fees ng sa sister ko and they said "YES" kya wait ko n lng dito application ng sister ko then mgppgwa n ko ng bank draft dto. Ako n din ang magmemail sa Novo Scotia.

Tnx Jlrp!  That's what my sister-in-law is going through right now.  She's not getting any straight answers from Metrobank.  They were suggesting cashier's check in peso, saying past applicants have done this.  That was before when you can submit your PR application in Canadian Embassy. Right?

Anyway, I'll let my sister-in-law to check with BDO.

hello po, ang alam ko po mag open muna sya ng account tapus after one week pede na syang mag request ng manager's check. alam na nila iyon. basta sabihin lang po para sa canadian embassy. tapus parang merong bayad na 50 or 100 pesos na charge nila sa check.
