Is it true that online application is way more faster than the manual way?

there is someone from UAE here, a Filipino, but i forgot who he is... and based on what i read so far, it is true that online application gets nominated faster than the mail method, but i'm not sure when it comes to visa application (i think it's just the same)... there is a thread here that you can check out: MPNP online application |

Yes. Applying ONLINE is much faster than BY MAIL. If you will check immigratemanitoba.com, it says that online applications are completed in 2 months. Mine took less than that. However, applying by mail takes 6 months. My friend applied under family stream, by mail. He submitted his application Sept 2011, AOR after 2 months, then got his LOA 6 months from Sept. |

I am not sure but I think you cannot do that. Tell your cousin to just wait for the AOR. Normally it usually comes after 2 months but lately, forum members have been getting theirs delayed by a month or so. |

In my opinion, you can apply online if you meet the qualification for the online application. Online applications receive expedited processing so why not shift your application. Online stream is quick and easy. But you already had a file number on general stream paper application. Just email them if you can still switch to online stream. Goodluck |
