i'm not sure if they will check on the spouse. they did not check on my husband's status, maybe because i am the principal applicant... may i know your status first? because if you are already in the Medical stage, i don't think you have to update your employment status.. just tell them you resigned from your previous job (if and only if asked)...in my case, i resigned from my work as a chief nurse and presented my job certificate.. i did not find any new job since i can not sign to any long-term contract

we already received a letter that we should undergo medical within 30 days. thanks on this BlessedMe Smiley now I'm a bit enlightened..
I cannot just wait the result of our application without landing on a new job, we just really need to work both to sustain the needs of our family. Thank you so much, we are planning to have our medical on the 30th. Any recommendation where? Will try to browse here in the forum for some feedback. thanks again and may God bless us all! Smiley we can do this! God is good!!

Hi BlessedMe,

You said "Please do not contact the CEM for queries.. it causes delay in your process especially if you have given them your details (based on experienced forum mates)".

The process really will be delayed after contact them?  Do you mind post the link here so i can go check it out what's going on?

I plan on contact Canadian High Comm. check my application status because already more than 6 months i haven't received my AOR or any further action requirement (they said within 1 month will issue the AOR for me but now already past 6 months).

After read your post i think i need to think twice before contact them.

Regards,
Kidrobot

oh no, i mean not contacting them while the time limit they have set has not yet lapsed..like in our case, waiting for  MR and AOR after filing our application in VO CEM usually takes 2-4months, and if you will read VO's instructions in AOR., they will say not to contact them until the given time frame has lapsed..

as for the site, i'm not good in remembering them, sorry..but you can start a new thread,..surely many will help out..

pareho lang yata sila ng time frame eh... from what i've heard, pag MPNP, yung time frame, lalo na sa VO CEM is same lang..the difference is gaano kalakas ang case para maapprove ang application (and i thought Family stream is stronger since kamag-anak mo na sponsor mo)..

that time tinanong ko yung mga nurse na nagaasist dun.di ko sila tinantanan hehe..tsaka pag sinabi din nila na sila na bahala magpadala ng results sa CEM.that means ok na yung results mo, kapag hindi ok ikoconfirm nila yung contact number mo for follow up and thorough examination, that means may problem pa.

yup...they won't send problematic findings without contacting you first... then referral,,then bonggang delay na nun...

pero no text or call from the testing center means ok na yun

Get it. Thanks for your reply.

My case is different than yours. Already past 1 month so i go to CHC in person to check my application status. They ask me to wait. Already 6 months 2 weeks i still haven't received my AOR.  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry In the website said will issue AOR within 1 month start from the date they received it.

Hope can receive the next step soon.

Good luck everyone!
