Hello

Me and my family are immigrating to Canada in June. Currently we live in US, and we are going to bring all our houshold to Canada. We want to send two containers to Canada, and the condition is that containers will be loaded here, and stored in US untill we land in Canada (there will be something like four days between we load the containers, and move to Canada).

After that containers will be transported to Canada, and stored somewhere in storage facilities until we get a permanent place to live, and ready to claim the containers. We ordered containers from PODS, but we are not sure this is a right company to go with (we have some reasons to believe it).

Does someone who moved from US to Canada has an idea about another company we can go with?

Thanks
Olga

I used ABF UPack to transport my stuff from Virginia to Calgary. Overall, I am satisfied with the service. The only disagreement that I had with them was during the delivery from their warehouse to our place. They did not inform me that they will not unload the container if there's snow on the ground. It has to stay on their 18 ft trailer. The problem then was where to park this huge trailer and the inconvenience of unloading from the trailer to the apartment.

Thanks, guys

We called UPack, and got a quote from them,  and it's just unbelievable - less than half of the PODS's price. Looks like this is the company to go with.

Thanks a lot

I have used ABF Upack as well (though for a move within the US). I was very pleased with the price, their service, etc. I had no problems.
