Hello everyone,I have a question.I'm married with Canadian citizen (wife) we live in US but my status is illegal here.Wish to apply for Canada papers but I only have romanian passport .Do I need to go to my own country in order to get my visa to Canada or I can get it in the states being illegal here.Thanks in advance

We are going through this process right now. My husband is Nicaraguan but lives in the US without "status". Our lawyer told us to do outland. My husband stays here in the US with me and will only have to go back if he needs an interview. We just filed in September and our application is now at Guatemala waiting for it to be reviewed.
