Move to Canada while PR is being processed in Nairobi

Hi, All

I have sponsored my wife for PR residence.  She currently resides in Tanzania and I am missing her dearly.

So far here is my timeline:
Application Recieved, March 31st 2008
Met requirements to Sponsor, April 23rd 2008
Application Sent to Niarobi, May 1st, 2008
Currently it is listed as Processing online

I was wondering, if it is possible to bring here here to Canada as a visitor while her papers are being processed.  And what steps I should take if I can do so.

She can apply for a TRV (visitor visa) but I wouldn't hold my breath since there is a PR application in progress the officer will decide that her intention is to remain permanently in Canada and refuse.
