i didnt meet my wife's family too., they are also against the marriage, but we are the same age, u think the fact of her family not being aware of our marriage wud cause a refusal or raise a red flag?

thanks all for posting here and i hope others will also share with us their timelines . Boujassem you are worrying too much these last days , u dont have any age difference between u and ur wife and the circumstances in which u meet her are good so the fact that u did meet her famly or u have different backgrounds doesnt really count , honestly speaking i see ur case as a very good case .

Boujassem, no one can tell you for sure if you will be accepted or not. Not having met the family will play against you for sure. That certainly isn't the only thing they will look at though. Our age difference coupled with the fact that I didn't meet his family raised an eyebrow. That being said you need to stay positive and see the outcome as working out jas as you would like it to.
Best of luck!

Hello Everyone Nice to be here.. I am canadian sponsoring my husband.. I find this site very helpful I appreciate all the help and discussions.. I do want to apologize now for some of the questions I will end up needing help with.. and sincerly send thanks.. I am so worried about the application that i filled in everything good and signed correct places not left anything blank . Does anyone know how long it will take to be notified if application does have problem and how long to fix it..

if your application is incomplete or missing any documents, you will recieve the whole package back from Mississauga with a note why it was returned.

In Mississauga they check 2 things, that your file is complete and whether you qualify as a sponsor, they send you a letter (approved most likely) and then pass the entire file to the embassy in Rabat.
