#8.a) Immigration status of applicant(s) in country where applying: is this referring to imm status in Canada? If  in China and applying for trv,  just check citizen and N/A under valid until?  Stupid q..I know!

quick q about family comp info: Writing out chinese no prob..can I input the street and address in pinyn or does it have to be exact translation?

Your immigration status refers to the country from whicy you are applying.  If you're living in China, then provide your immigration status in China - citizen, permanent resident, visitor, etc.

Usually when you provide an address, it should be in English.  I think there's probably a generally accepted English spelling for chinese pinyin characters, right?

For names, you should provide both the chinese and English spelling.  What you write should match the formal documents you have like birth certificates, marriage certificates, driver's licenses, etc.
