"show that you have enough money to maintain yourself and your family members in Canada and to return home"

What amount do they mean by this ? I want to go there alone.

It means enough money to provide for your needs (accommodation, food, etc.) while you are visiting Canada.

Somewhere between $300 to $500 Canadian per week depending on accommodations which are the most expensive cost a visitor will incur.  It can be less if accommodations are provided but I wouldn't go below $200 per week.
