Dear friends,

if I apply as a SW and I am almost 67 (66/68) and if I have in the BANK CAN$ 150.000

DO YOU THINK that will work/help

this is not a tricky question, I mean if there are really 150.000 not borrowing

Nope, you still need 67 points to qualify, available funds above the LICO don't help.

The Canadian government recognizes that the points awarded under the skilled worker selection system do not always accurately reflect an applicant's chances of successfully settling in Canada. As a result, Citizenship and Immigration Canada Officers are authorized to substitute for the criteria listed above their evaluation for the likelihood of the applicant becoming economically established in Canada, and to accept or refuse the applicant no matter what points are awarded.

It's there, but is not about money, it is usually used negatively where the applicant meets the points, but his/her job skills have no demand in Canada, and it would be highly unlikely that the applicant would be able to support themselves.
