Mistake in Citizenship Certificate

Hello

My wife and I became Canadian Citizens a month ago.When she received her certificate she discovered an error in her birth date, she had to return it to be corrected and they told her she would receive in the mail. Now we are traveling next weekl and we are very concerned that she won't receive it on time, although the lady put an Urgent note on it.

Has any of you been in that situation or know somebody that has?

Every time she calls they tell her to keep waiting, and nobody seems to be willing to help, we don't know what to do..

She can't apply for a passport without the certificate and by the other hand since they take away your Resident Card, if she exits canada she has nothing to prove her right to enter again.

Please help..
