Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum.I ve recently submitted my docs. to London.Accidently while filling the Background declaration form for myself, in Q #11 of declaring personal history I forgot to mention my stay in Japan (my stay was for doing 2 courses twice n each time I stayed there for 6  mnths)
Altough I did mention my addresses of stay in japan during this period in Q# 15 of the same form n also submitted my PCC from Japan, which obviously shows tht I did not want to hide anything from CIC , the failure to mention my stay in Japan was by a mistake.
Seniors plz advise wht shd i do now as I ve already send my docs. to CIC  n realized my mistake after tht.Shd I wait for CIC to contact me regarding the clearification or shd I myself email explaing the situation.I am feared tht it could delay the processing of my case.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

regards

I have not done anything like this ... but if I were you ..

I will send a letter to consulate explaining the error and submitting a updated form. You may also want to attach the copy of old one and high light the mistake.

they can not penalize you for accepting your mistake and doing the right thing.

Be proactive and contact them before they come to you. Send an apology letter with corrected/updated form asap. SK.Aggarwal's advise it what I would go in for. All the best.

If they catch your mistake it is upto them to decide if you were trying to do a fraud or it was a honest mistake. Please take my advice with a grain of salt, my I am advising from a common sense perspective.
