Guys I just gonna ask you something. My husband received a letter from canadian embassy requesting for passport but his last name is misspelled in the letter, and I check the E-CAS, his name is misspelled there too... He sent back his passport with a letter on it telling them that his last name is misspelled...Do u think we have to worry about this? thanks for ur response greatly appreciated...

Dear Nowbie,
I think it doesn't matter for miss-spelling of name just when you going to submit your passport write a letter that change my last name in E-CAS and mention that its miss-spelling definitely i think Embassy will change it.

I think its not a big deal to be worry just write a letter to Embassy thats all.

They mispelled mine too but i caught it at the beggining of the processing and sent a fax with a copie of my passport and they corrected it in a matter of a few weeks, not sure what they do if u send you passport for visa with it mispelled.
