Visa received on 24th August 09. Stamped on 19th August 09. Old and new passports are stapled together. My IELTS score card and original documents have been returned back. Received everything through registered post.

How long is the Visa? Do you have to land in Canada to get the PR Card or can they mail it to you outside of Canada?

My ID is same.
Applied in March 08 to CHC New Delhi, AOR in april 08, Request for full application in Jan 09, Full application submitted in May 09, Medical+RPRF+Passport request in June 09 but received request letter in July 09. Pasports received by CHC on 18th July 09. RPRF cheque returned on 25th July 09. Sent correct RPRF on 27th July 09 which was received by CHC on 28th July 09. RPRF receipt received on 7th August 09. Letter+unstamped passports from CHC to submit RPRF (this was their mistake) received on 14th August and sent the receipt back to them on the same date(kept a copy with me) along with the passports. CHC received them on 17th August 09. VISA stamped on 18th August 09. Ecas changed to decision made on 19th August 09. Passports received on 24th August 09.

I mentioned Toronto while filling up the form. However, nothing as such mentioned in visa or related papers. Wish to land in Toronto as have friends there.
