Missing out on tuition help ?

-------

To receive the learning bond, families have to have a child born Jan. 1, 2004, or after, and an after-tax household income under $40,970 a year. Then, it is necessary to start an RESP account with a licensed RESP provider where the government can deposit the money. Parents and child also need to have a social insurance number.

------------

After reading the post again, now I realize that a family has to have a child born after Jan 1, 2004 and not necessarily  for that child but for the older siblings who will go to college..pls correct me if Im wrong. Thanks.

High school is from grade 1 - 12 while post secondary school is referred to as college (universities, institutes etc.)
