Hello,

Please can anyone help me with information ?

My wife applied for my sponsorship in April 2009, during my interview in April 2010 , My application was declined on grounds of misrepresentation as I had excluded details of my previous marriage. A letter was issued in May 2010 by CIC's that denied further travel to Canada for a period of 2 years. My wife moved back to UK in June 2010 and recetly returned back to canada.

I have resubmitted my application in December 2011 and would be grateful for any response/comments . My questions :

-Will the progess of application be delayed due to having previously misrepresnted ?
-How long does it take for spouse application to be processes from London office ?
-Do I need to inform CIC if I wish to travel to canada after the 2 year ban is over ?

Thank you for responding !

Spousal applications processed through London are sometimes completed in as little as three months.

I believe you should have waited until the ban was officially lifted before re-submitting your application. I think there's a chance you're going to be refused again since the ban is still in place and you don't qualify to immigrate to Canada at this time.

I tend to agree with the above that you should be waiting until May this year to resubmit an application. It's only a few more months and would save you the stress and financial hassel of possibly being declined again.

They might refuse the PR application but let him in on a TRP on H&C grounds as he's a member of the family class.  Hopefully they had someone who knew what they were doing prepare the application so they would know enough to ask for this.  If you don't ask for it, you don't get it.
