I will be attending Citizenship Oath Ceremony after 4 weeks now along with my elder child. My younger child was born out of Canada and joined me in Jan. 2011. I didn't apply for her Citizenship so far as I was thinking that it takes a bit long. But within less than 2 months I have asked for finger prints, citizenship test etc. and now a letter to attend the Oath within next 4 weeks. I need to get the Citizenship and the subsequent Passport without any delays and though I have paid for my younger daughter's citizenship application online, I am still confused whether to send it now for grant of Citizenship to her at the same time as to me or it would affect my Oath and Citizenship, say delaying till next oath ceremony. My case was shifted to Edmonton and if I send my daughter's application to Nova Scotia, would they ask Edmonton to stop and wait for our applications?
I have tried 1-888-242-2100 but not reaching an agent.
Thanks for your help, guidance and experience.
