Hello,

Could you please reply to me if you have an experience ?
I am applying for my son's citizenship and not sure if I should put my information and sign on section 12 on the application form (Individual, firm or organization who assisted in the completion of this application).

Thanks a lot.

No, section 12.  If you are competing the application yourself, tick "no" and leave the rest blank.  It would be best if you submit the form in person.

Thanks Steaky,

Actually I put my information on section 12 as I filled out the form for my son and one CIC agent talked me to do that way when I questioned on the phone, but one of my friend told me to leave the section blank which makes me confused.

Do you think it will cause a problem if I filled my informations on section 12 ?

Thank you very much.

I don't think it will cause a problem at all.  The section is for the situation where an individual other than the parent or guardian of the child fills out the application which is not the case here but even if you put your information on there, it should not matter.
