Processing time at Manila is more than 4 years as on today.
If you start collecting all your documents and apply, and land in Canada , it will be 2012. Unless you have job offer "on hand" from Canadian employer (which will reduce processing time to may be 1 year or so..) Not sure about any delay due to corruption.. (Mine it took more than 7 years at Manila processing..)
So economics and job market may be different in 2012.
I am not sure but like to know what is the salary you are drawing in Peso currently ? This may give idea to me, is it good to migrate or not ?
If you migrate, will you be able to get that Project Manager job back in filippines in case, you could not find better job in Canada ?
Do not look at salary earning number by converting to Peso.
