Minimum IELTS score

Hi All!

Does anybody know what is minimum IELTS score required in general. I know different scores are required for different NOC categories.

Somebody told me before score of 5 or 5.5 is not considered reputable for any category regardless if you have already  scored 67 points  excluding score.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

it depends on the NOC level if your noc level A you should have ilets level 7 in all abilites or 2 level 7 1 level 8 1 level 6
L8     S 6.5 R 6.5 W 6.5 L7.5

Totally wrong the noc has no relation with your score and the minimum is 6.5 overall band

Unless you are a lecturer or doctor you do not need high score. As long as you score moderate and fulfill the passmark criteria I believe you will be successfully immigrated to Canada.

I think above 6 is a borderline score, 6.5 might be reasonable and any tihng above 7 should be good for Visa officers.

Just my personal opinion.
