Hi,
My documents were sent on August 30 by my consultant to CHC New Delhi. My consultant tells me that right now New Delhi CHC is taking minimum 8 months' time to start processing.
Is this true ?

My consultant sent the documents on september 10th 2010. Documents reached office on 13th september.
I got the 2nd AOR on 1st October. letter was dated 24th september. It is mentioned that, 'an average of 8 months will be taken for the processing. However, if you do not get any information in next 3 months, please contact the local immigration office'

What we are seeing from the data on Forum, typically it is taking about 5-6 months to get file in Process and another month and a half to get Meds and passports back. So all in all you consultatnt is giving you right tentative timeline of about 7-8 months
