Hi all,

First of all, I would like to thank this forum for all the information. This is a truly great resources.

I am going to apply for PR under CEC. I got all the documents prepared (IELTS, Letter references, etc). However, I am a little bit worried about my name in my bachelor's degree certificate, as well as in my 1st year college experience.

My name in birth certificate is "Muhammad Zeon Gempa Caniago". In my certificates, it spells "Muhammad Zion Gempa Caniago". Notice the difference in "Zeon" and "Zion". I am not sure if it's a big deal or not. It's my middle name. Can anybody give some opinions? Should I request for corrections?.

FYI: I am graduated from Simon Fraser University (bachelor) and Columbia College (1st year completion).

Thanks for your opinions.

Request corrections(best solution) or get the school to issue a letter stating the error in name and confirming you are one and same person. If you get a letter instead, include a copy with your application and keep the original in a safe place since you may need it in the future.
