Dear Syeda,
1- When you have already hired a consultant, then they should be guiding you in every step. Usually you need to go through the guide for documentation required here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp
2- I personally have not notarized any of my educational document neither from university nor from any ministry and i passed the paper screening. It depends how strongly you can satisfy the CHC-Officer in London and which university you graduated from. Just to be on the safe side Pakistani Universities may need notarization (Check with your consultant whom you already paid).
3- Personally the funds are required to satisfy the immigration officer during the process and until landing that you have sufficient amount to support a family of 5. When they request you for a bank statement and you add equivalent amount a day before printing the statement will always be risky. To be on the safe side always put money in advance and you have to keep it till you land, which may take anywhere from 12 months to 36 months. (i've kept mine for more than 20 months now and my file is still under process)

Hope the explanation helps.

It appears that Medical/visa issuance has completely stopped in December. Rarely anyone is getting update.

So buckle up for 2010.

Biblo...

I just received Medical Request along with the additional documents... here is my timeline

NOC = 0213
Applied = May 2008
AOR = Aug 2008
Docs Requested = Jan 2009
Docs Submitted = Mar 2009
Additional Docs = Oct 2009
Medical Request Received = Dec 2009

CHC has request to submit the following:

1. New Schedule 1 Form

3. RPRF
4. Long-Form Birth Certificate
5. Updated PCC from one of the Country of Residence

Well, at least it is moving...

I need to ask something really
if you are using a consultant, when the medicals are ready, so the CHC send it to the consultant and the consultant send it back to you, or they inform the consultant, and the consultant inform you back and you pick it up ??

wanted to know as I'm using a consultant myself, so want to know whether there will be delays or not from that issue..

Hi Biblo,

As per Google Search... Long-Form Birth Certificate means Hospital Record about child birth... I am still not clear why it is required where we have submitted Birth Certificates...

The updated PCC required is UAE where we were used to live 5 years back and are living in another GCC country since 5 years.

May be someone elaborate more...

According to my research, the processing for Middle East seems to be slowest among all immigrants. Is there anyone to report a progress?
