You must have received an AOR from London, one stating your new file number from London.
If it is In Process, then kindly check your ECAS status, if it mentions that the review is complet and they have started processing, this mean you passed the NOC and Ministrial List eligibility and now they will resume the normal processing for your file like points, background checks, security.
If it mentions pending for review, then the immiration officer still has to decide whether your qualify under the NOc or ministrial instructions.
The AOR i got from London mentions that processing times for new applications are to be completed within 8-12 months.
Kind regards,
Alice

Hi Alice,
How long will it take for the e cas status to change from "received by visa office" to "in process"? Thanks.

Dear Alice,
Thanks for the reply. No I did not receive any AOR from London. I have today sent them an email. The e-cas shows "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on 25 June". Does this mean that points and other stuff are ok or these will be determined now.

Yes after the in porcess status came and it mentioned visa office review complete and started processing, i got a letter to provide a fresh police report from pakistan.
They gave me 60 days to submit the report and mentioned that August 16 the IO will sit down review the file and make a final decision.

Dear All,
I just mailed in my FSW application to NS. The application package was received July 21, 2009.
If any of you have experience with police clearance processes in Saudi Arabia, please share.
1. I am especially interested in; Do we have to send the police clearances along with the full application to CHC London Office after approval from NS? 2. Or do I want for them to ask me to send the Police Clearances? 3. Where can I get fingerprints done in Khobar, Saudi Arabia to send to other countries to get police records from other countries where I have lived in the past?
I look forward to hearing from members who have any experience in these areas of concern.

Biblo:
Thanks for starting this forum. It will help all of us in the middle east to learn more from each other's experiences.
I am in KSA. I have recently started my process for an immigration with an AEO. Hopefully, I will be able to provide an update as I come to know more information.
Bestplace4you: I think you will have to send the passports to Riyadh in KSA for the stamping.
Lets all continue this forum to assist each other in this aggravating process.

bestplace4u,
Yah..you're right. It is illegal for a passport to cross any country without the owner. Actually this issue was already discussed in other forum and someone sent letter to the Minister, and requested to have the visa stamping done in the Canadian embassy where the applicant resides. The request was a "knock to the moon", but who knows maybe it will be granted. Help pray for its approval.
