Sorry its not 125 pages , its 167 pages ,its a GCMS file not CAIPS . It includes all my application forms ,different phase point calculation ,  all email communication with me  / even their hand written comments office processing .  That is why   they send it in CD version. if you want to know more details ask me  .

Did you order GCMS through a canadian PR or citizens? How long it took to get your GCMS? How much it cost? I got my GCMS couple of months back and it was only approx 30 pages pdf files. It would be of great help if you please inform me the details, as I am planning to order details GCMS like you.
Thanks and best of luck.

Dear fellows,
No update of my file, probably one of the oldest MI2 applicant... However, I got my student visa (F1) for USA and need to attend my class in first week of August, 2012. Is it possible to request CIC/SGVO to transfer my file to Buffalo or any other CHC at USA, if I have to go to USA before any update of my file?

In fact, I am in a dilemma about what to do if no update comes before I leave for USA. I do not want to loose the opportunity of getting Canadian PR card in any situation...

Waiting for kind suggestions of you all.

Take care.

Best,

Rakib.

Rakib ,
Yes , i applied through a Canadian citizen . It took almost 75 days and they send it by CD . This cost me nothing as my brother in law send   the  request . Funny thing is that  after my GCMS order  they calculated my relatives point before they just mention relatives documents not enough .  Another thing i marked in my notes that the CIC Sydney asses you first then SGVO assed  you   in different dates , whenever your one document check is completed they awarded you points . For instance , first they donot calculate my  MA because its take time verify ( i did my MA form UK)  afterword when they got the response they added it . For my relatives point same thing happened . Now they are verifying my spouse educational background they mention 17 and marked him as a potential worker /new worker code 998000 but they not yet awarded  the point . Thanks to allah that i already had enough point to qualify .

Interestingly , they create RPRF fees option for me on 7 July 2011 and marked my RPRF outstanding ,same thing for medical . But you know Rakib  this GCMS gave me a notion that its really hard work they worked on your file almost every month .  But for some reason they donot issue any letter it can be  their 2011 intake was over or any other  donot know .  Another thing My E-cas was not working since  January and in notes it marked that they closed FOSS on January . So its really tough condition for me to get idea from E-cas .  if you want to know any thing more ask me any time i will response as much i can understand .

Thanks so much, for the information. As I need to attend my classes in USA by Auguat,15 and for next 2 years I have to stat there,  ordering GCMS may not be of help, as it took 75 days for you to get the response.

If you have any information on switching Visa office to USA from SGVO, please let me know.

Thanks again and wish you the very best.

Thanks very much for the info. It is really amazing that the CAIPS note can be 125 pages!!! I have ordered once last year, it is around 29 pages, and last month I  ordered again, not sure when I can get the report. Hope to hear your detailed info when you receive the CD.

Did any one of you notice this? (see below link, answer No. 10884)

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/all-bangladeshi-applicants-forum-t19664.10875.html

No. 10884

SGVO is requesting the following for this forum member BDAPP2011  :
Copies of Secondary and Higher School transcripts /certificates for yourself and your spouse" should be sent within 60 days.

Did you submit these secondary and high school transcripts/certificates? I mean for my case we only submmited university and post-graduates transcripts and certificates. So this is quite a concern.

Wishing you guys have a great weekend!

Where are you all? I need to know something, how many (%) MI-2 applicant got the letter from SGVO is requesting the following: “Copies of Secondary and Higher School transcripts /certificates for yourself and your spouse" should be sent within 60 days.”?
I know "BDAPP2011" got this type of letter. Is this request do only by snail mail or email also?
Please make a table like
Personal ID   Update Requesting Date    NOC      E-case status (RBVO)

GCMS is the new system that will eventually replaced the CAIPS system. Its not available at all visa offices right now. When we request the CAIPS file from CIC, they are providing us with either the CAIPS or the GCMS file depending on its availability. There is no difference in our fee between a CAIPS file or a GCMS file. But for MI2  Singapore we have GCMS systems . for more details you can visit : http://www.burstall.com/pdf/from-ships-manifest-to-GCMS.pdf

Dear eclips
This link will help you http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/singapore-singapour/visas/processing-traitement.aspx?view=d

It will take only 14 days .If i am in your place i do send them an email about the situation and request them to issue my visa by this time frame( you will stay in Singapore)  . I think they will answer you positively . You have some certain right on them as already submitted your RPRF . SO request them  with an email and do not forget to mark it as  "urgent" . they mention in their web:  In order to best use our resources, we do not accept enquiries in person or by phone.  If your enquiry is urgent due to factors outside of your control, send an e-mail clearly indicating “URGENT:” followed by the reason for the urgency.
