The MP's assistant just called me to say that they are just now requesting a status update on my behalf.  Better late than never I guess.  Have a great weekend!

That great news the MP is following up, keep us posted

 @ Sillymemo

This is a kinda old thread but it may still help you
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t12122.0.html

I was also reading a thread that said one can order CAIPS notes via email..... If you need it I can look for it again.  But I think you probably already ordered your CAIPS notes and they should arrive soon before you interview I hope

I would be interested to know about requesting CAIPS by email.  Really hoping I don't have to order them again, but "just in case".

Hey Everyone, I'm still a year away form applying w/ my significant other under Family Class Sponsorship... But I'm already terrified of getting denied (we've just been denied 2 visitor visas to canada recently).

If you have any tips/advice since you've been at the process for a while now, please send them my way.
I guess just suggestions on how to prepare during this next year.  The last thing I want is to get denied again Sad.

@ YAZ I send you my email already by private msg, regarding your medicals the doctor its going to send them to TRINIDAD Y TOBAGO , you will get a papper from the doctor , and this papper you have to send it, in you case to the embassy. Trinidad y Tobago takes a little bit of time to file your medical results, and once they are availiable the counsul can go ahead and check them. Once the Embassy Go through your medicals you Will see in your ECAS : "Medicals has been receive "

Hey itscoezy.  Sorry to hear about the TRV refusals.  All I can really suggest is that you really focus on submitting strong evidence to support the genuiness of your relationship - photos, emails, correspondence, phone records and so on.  When we submitted our app we included a selection of emails, screenshots from facebook, travel receipts (airline, trains, hotels etc.), screenshots of our online chats, photos from the wedding and family events, emails between us and friends/family clearly demonstrating their awareness and involvement and support of our relationship (i.e. my sister sending an email with ideas for a family celebration in Canada because they couldn't attend in Mexico); wedding congrats etc.  If you think there is anything that might come up as a question, be proactive and include an explanation so that you are covering all bases from the start.  Do a search on this forum regarding relationship proof and you will get some good ideas about what you need to document and submit.  Good luck!!!

Yikes!  Given the short turn-around time, it looks like this process might be nearing the end.  They just want to see what your husband has been up to since you submitted the application.

Good luck and I hope this is almost over for you guys!

Schiller 529, Col. Bosque de Chapultepec (Polanco)
