GT25 , Jeridian

We got a response back from the Embassy in Mexico city , they want to wait for the request they sent , i offered to get it myself but this was their response :

Since Mr. XXX XXXXX is in Canada, our office has already requested the results on his behalf directly to the PGR. At this point, the applicant has nothing else to provide. We will contact him once all the results are on file.

they don't say yes or not to my offer ja ja ja, per my MP for us to wait a month and see if they get the report from PGR

Probably waiting is a good idea at least for a month, getting the letter but yourself it is easy but you need to get lots of documents too like you Cartilla Militar and also it takes ten working days to process it so at the end you will spend like 2 or 3 week to get it and you might get news from the Embassy before one more question you are currently in Canada did you apply inland or out land? I don't get it they ask me to get the letter mysel and I am also in Canada I applied out land...

Everything that you have already asked about the marriage certificate also applies to the birth certificate.  Translation and photocopy,  no embassy, no consulate, no notary or certification.  If they require originals later they will let you know.

Hi all
I have a question on email replies from the embassy. I'm trying to book travel and paperwork, but they're asking me for a state police certificate from a state where I only lived well under 6 months. It seems like a mistake, but I know, if they say get it, I get it. The question is this: how long has it taken for some of you guys to hear back from them when asking a question by email?

I have received 3 different responses - 10 days, 11 days and 11 days from the date of the requests. The last response was received on February 17th with a request date of February 7th.  I hope that helps!

Thanks, guys. The question to the embassy was about that certificate that I shouldn't have to get since I didnt live there for 6 months; in fact it was less than 5 months.
However, I do need to travel by Tuesday at the latest, so basically waiting for a reply will mean either booking late, which means more money, or getting no reply at all, and so waiting doesn't help me anyway. I'll just go get the certificate and be done with it.

Stuffs is happening!

Cheers
