Does anyone have any suggestions on bridge health insurance during the waiting period until OHIP takes effect? (Providers)
How much insurance does one need and what is a reasonable deductible? (usually never get sick but want accident coverage)
We will be spending a couple weeks driving in the US before arriving in Ontario, would be great to have coverage in the US as well....
Thanks in advance for any tips....
I use this company for my insurance in Mexico : http://www.hccmis.com/health-insurance-plans/ I'm not sure what the details are for their Canadian coverage but it might be worth a look. they were the best package i found for Mexico. |

They will. Or at least update the DATES. Processing is over 100 days for people now and I wonder if they don't want to make that public. |

I really don't get what the heck has happened to make this part 100 days. Why are some people getting a response from Ottawa instead of Mississauga? Its really confusing me, lol. |

worst news....just had an email saying at this he is denied....reason: saying that he didnt hand in the Federal Police Certificate!!! He handed it in at his interview!!!!!!!!! what do we do now?  |

Ahhh BCMom!! I am so sorry to hear this news!!  Was ecas not updated or did they not receive a request for the police certificate!? If you have a credit card you can upload credit to their cell phone through this site: https://www.prepaid.com/PrepaidDotComExternalWeb/enter.do I do it with my bf's Telcel account all the time. keep us posted! I have faith that this an be fixed!! |
