Ah okay, sigh of relief.. so with UPS, do you mean we would have to set up an account beforehand for the return waybill?

Our UPS store used their account and we were billed for the expense but you can always setup an account if necessary

Waiting for approval is killing me. We are sending all our stuff on a moving truck to Toronto in 3 weeks and we probably won't even get approval by then! My husband is freaking out. I told him we got a PR before and the only thing that has changed is we have a daughter now. We will get it! But I'm stressed too. It is a leap of faith.

Islenio, if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for the passport to be sent and return? I am getting a quote of 75 for there and then I am assuming it would be the same for the return?

A little off topic but.. with those whose spouses are here with them in Canada while waiting for PR.. what are some things they do to preoccupy their time since they can't work or study here?

hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has experience applying for a visitor's visa in Mexico after getting married, I know it's hard for it to be approved but we want to try.  We haven't sent in our sponsorship application yet, in the form would we choose tourism or other?

She came to visit last year but we weren't married yet and she had no problems getting the visa, we're gonna submit basically the same things, she just renewed her car insurance, work letter, bank statements etc, house title, any suggestions?

gracias!

I think since she honoured the first visa she has a greater chance getting it approved a second time around

You can try. It would be better to do it after you are approved as a sponsor, according to the immigration officer that called my husband. And I recommend writing a letter saying that if they are going to deny her that you would rather withdraw your application as a visa denial will be a small red flag during your application process. Also she could get the visa but still be denied at the border.

I cant remember if I asked or you already answered this question.. so i am going to ask again Smiley Why is a denied visitor visa seen as a red flag for a PR application process? I was always told those two things are comp. seperate..I am curious to know the answer the VO gave you
