You will have to take that medical form, passport, photographs ( number vary from DMP to DMP) and money to any DMP in the list supplied with medicals. Some DMP also ask for prior appointment.
TESTS ARE:-
Blood test( not for children), urine test, x ray( not for children), blood pressure

they look for TB, HIV, diabties etc
Physical examination of body is also conducted, doc look for any operation scars.

Hi,

Just make sure that you arrive early on your doctors appointment for you to be able to be relax.

In our case, we just arrived on time and was called by the doctor so we did not have time to relax thus my husbands bp shoot up to 150/90 plus the fact that we were nervous because this could make or break your application.  Doctor said bp is normal but he requested for ecg because of this.

We were called by the doctor in his office.  First he will ask questions to verify that he is examining the correct candidate.  He reads out the list of questions like have you been hospitalised, what medicines are you taking if any etc.  just basics which you can easily answer.

then he will take your bp. then check your breathing. then if everything is ok the nurse will get your blood sample and urine.  Eye test is there but just the basic one.  Similar to when you go to an optometrist to get eyeglasses.  Plus of course they will get your height & weight.

Goodluck.

danjo::

being nervous does not make BP high. It means that your husband already has Bp or at least susceptible to.

Thanks

The DMP will send his investigation report to the Commission . If the commission medical panel feels not satisfied they will send u a remedical request which u r not supposed to open and the DMP will open it and tell u if any further specialist is to be referred etc.
