Hi Sayek..........I did my medicals in the month of July, 2010 i.e 14.7.2010 and send my Landing fee same time..........I got my PPR after 8 and a half months waiting period.........it was a long wait..........but happy that now i have some time to plan as i have to enter Canada before mid july..........Thank you for all the good wishes.........

one year from the date of doing the medicals

if you did medical examination on 01-08 -2010 , then the expiry date of the visa will be 01-08 -2011 , even if the visa issue one week before this date .

Thanks anwar and aspire... ... I thought it is a year after given the VISA not medical. But actually, I think this is not always the case as my cousin was given a year while only 1 month left for his medical to expire.

Hi, after visa stamping only E cas status is changed into "DECISION MADE".

It will be changed on next Tuesday after stamping of Visas.
