hello friends,
   i had received PPR thru email after inquiring them about my status online last april 22. after that i made ask them again about sending the passport and this is my exact request and this is their exact reply:

Request: I would like to ask if in sending passport for visa stamping, is it required to send a machine readable passport? Do I need to submit both previous and present passport or only the recent one? Also, I would like to change my mailing address and contact details as indicated below.

We only require current passport and this does not have to be machine readable.
 
When you submit passports you may indicate the new address you request passports to be sent to.

that's absolutely fabulous !!! 

many congrats on getting the PPR. i think it won't take 1 month to receive the visa , i think it will take only 2 weeks to receive visa. i wish, u receive it in 5 days. 

also, many many thnx for letting us know that they do not require machine readable passport---this has saved us a lot of hassle who has got normal passports for the last 5 years.

one more thing, could u copy-paste here the exact enquiry u sent them that made them send u the PPR?

Also date of application is important as their processing fast track people quicker than old applicants

THis morning, i was awaken by a very important telephone call from the courier man....At last, thanks and praise God!!! I received back my passport with the visa on it....I am so happy! Don't know how to react but things are started to sinked it....I am so elated!!!

Just want to take the opportunity to thank you all, shibleebd, u started this thread and many others...I will still of course continue to visit and post on this forums..

To all who are still waiting, please don't lose hope...just be patient because it will be given unto you if it is really meant for you.. God is good and He knows what is best for us all...

I received my medical request by mail...because they also sent the forms needed for the doctor to fill up and sign..

yes offcourse u can send CHC a case specific enquiry and they will definitely reply u but dont send them too many enquiries. In that case they will not reply u and ur all emails will go to their junk folder.

we paid them hundreds of $$$$, & they treat our enquiry as junk !!!
