hi DANISHSOOMRO
i went to Lloyds TSB bank for the draft and they did everything. it took them 3 working days to deliver the Bank Draft in canadian dollar to the branch. they were really helpful. yes, they took out some charges but i guess u have to pay that anyway......

no, u can't pay in £, it must be in C$......

my advice is to ask ur current account holding bank to issue this Bank Draft and MAKE SURE U TELL THEM TO MAKE THE DRAFT PAYABLE TO ''RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA''

if u need any more help in this issue just let me know here.....

a very good luck............

HELP !!!

I got my MR and PRPF request, Can anyone guide me how to pay them as bankers draft cost 25£ in London, is there any other way we can pay them

Also it should be in Canadian $ only or i can pay in £ sterling..

Help would be really appreciated...

hi EDUPOLO

yes, although it is very very unfortunate but it is possible for the meds to expire without hearing anything from London.

yes, if the meds expire they will ask u to do again (i know it's another hassle and waste of money but there u go)

yes, few of us here have been waiting for quite a long time.....look at my case...i was waiting for almost 11 motnhs for the PPR.....so, anything is possible....i know it's very difficult to stay positive in this situation but that's the only thing u can do.

dear brother, r u by any chance living in UK? then u can personally submit ur passports and it will be quicker....

good luck............

Hello,
can your medicals expire and not have heard from the London office since you had them done?
Can they make me do them again if they expire because they have not had the decency to process my medicals on time.
I have been waiting for over 8 months now and I am starting to think that if they give me 45 days to send my passports + the time until they return my passport, it will put me really close or over the expiration date.
Any thoughts? do you know of anyone has has been in this situation?

HI Shibleed,

First of all, congrats!

Yes, your case gives me some hope. I cannot believe that it took them so long to ask for your passports... 11 months.
Was there any reason for this. I have tried to contact CIC but they just send a standard reply that does not say anything.
At least I live in London and quite close to the High Commission, so hoepfully I can do the same thing that you did to expedite the visa stamping if I ever get my PPR.

Dear all

I ve heard very weired news, that from now they will stop processing all applications and they divided the applicants to 4 categories pre spa those who applied before 2006 august and second category those who applied between august 2006 to feb 2008 and m1 those who applied from 2008 feb to June 2008 and m2 those who applied after June 2010
Based on that they wil finish pre spa then m2 then m1 then spa
I know it is so weird but does anybody heard this also
And if yes is it including those who did their medicals

Thank u

My last update was about 3 weeks ago. They said they need to wait for their medical branch to send results. I do not understand what can take so long when my doctor said everything was fine, and he even ran the tests because one of us had Blood Pressure slightly higher due to the nerves of the day.
Anyway, that is all they said, so not much at all.
