Does anyone hear from anything from Detroit???  It seems that all of us who are done with medical have been waiting for Detroit for a while!  Detroit had a good/fast work record in June.  How about July? Huh Huh

My Medicals are sent on May 20.

When I sent a follow up email they replied saying that the file is ready for finalization and instructions will be sent in the next few weeks!

not sure what is their definition of few..

May I ask your category and NOC code, please?

OK, Detroit folks,

I just got something about the processing speed in these US local consulates.  Based on my reading of others posts, I saw Detroit is the office which sends us the medical Section A during the shortest time (2-3 weeks) since our files transferred from Buffalo, while other local offices need 2-3 months.  However, after people's medical results get Ottawa, LA is the office which can send them PPR within the shortest time (2-3 wks), while Detroit and other offices usually take 2-3 months to release PPR.

No, it is still not showing the receipt of my medicals as well, my visa office is Buffalo and my results were received by Ottawa on May 25.

Some lucky applicants who sent their results after we did were able to see the change this week.

Professional.
Buffalo office is moving  these weeks, keep the spirits up, it is on the way!

Thanks maple,

You know it is not related to Buffalo being fast or slow, it is related to the way they look at our applications and process them. If they decided that my case has to go under the deep background check which they just pick people randomly for it, this will mean that god only knows when will be the end of this matter....

Anyway, i have done my best when i collected all of my documents regarding the authentications, complying with their requirments exactly, satisfying every single detail in their document checklist...etc. Whether that is enough for them or not, i have nothing to add more.

I still remember the delay in your case which does not make any sense, and even unjustifiable, those guys in Buffalo can do whatever they want to regardless of whether it is logical or not.

All we have to do, is to be satisfied about our efforts and leave the rest to god. If they accept us and grant us the visas, it will be our pleasure to live permanently in this country and contribute in building it. If they do not want to do so, it is up to them, that is their country and their choice to select whoever they think he might fit with their economic plans.
