Maybe somebody can answer this for me cuz im really starting to wonder whats going on...ecas still only says "Aplication Recieved: we recieved your application on June 6 2011." Our lawyer told us to get medicals and a police check done in August so we sent them in on august 9 and it still doesnt say that they were recieved...could they be recieved but they just havent said so because our application still isnt "in proccess?" Now the address on my husbands ecas is gone (since mid Dec) which i've read that can mean its being worked on...Ive tried to contcact the embassy through fax, email, mail, phone and in person but no answers to anything...when we go in person they say we have to contact thru email but they never answer...any advice?

You pretty much just have to wait in silence. E-cas is unreliable so if anything changes in your application, you will know about it first way before e-cas is updated. Your medicals and police check are most likely there by now, but again they don't update e-cas regularly. If you email and fax them, the chances of them replying are very slim unless your application is past the standard processing times. If you call them or go in to the visa office, they will just tell you that everything is on their website or that you need to email them.
